At Travel AI China, we are committed to protecting your privacy and giving you control over your personal data. You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated personal information.
This page explains what data can be deleted, how to submit a deletion request, and how long the process takes.
How to Submit a Deletion Request
To protect your account security, we process all deletion requests manually. Please follow these steps:
Step 1: Contact Customer Support
Send an email to support@travelai-china.com with the subject line 'Account Data Deletion Request'.
Step 2: Verify Your Identity
Our support team will reply within 3 business days to verify your identity and confirm the email address associated with your account.
Step 3: Confirmation and Deletion
Once verified, we will delete your account and all associated personal data within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.
For security reasons, we cannot process deletion requests through live chat or social media.
What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon successful deletion request, the following data associated with your account will be permanently removed:
- Account profile information (name, email, phone number, profile photo)
- Saved itineraries and travel plans
- Favorites, reviews, and community posts
- AI-generated recommendations and preferences
- All other personal data stored in our system
Data Retention After Deletion
Under normal circumstances, your data will be completely removed from our active systems within 30 days of receiving your verified request.
Legal Obligation: Certain financial transaction records, compliance-related data, and information required by applicable laws or regulations will be retained in accordance with legal requirements, even after an account deletion request.
Backups containing your data will be purged within 90 days in accordance with our data retention policy.
