Visit Wuhou Shrine
It is the only temple in China that worships both a monarch and his minister. The main buildings are arranged along the central axis, and attractions such as Huiling Mausoleum and Jingyuan Hall are worth a close look. With paths flanked by red walls and dense ancient cypresses, it is a wonderful place for taking photos and recalling ancient times.

Wander around Jinli Ancient Street
Adjacent to Wuhou Temple, both sides of the bluestone paths are lined with antique shops in the style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. You can watch traditional crafts such as sugar painting and dough modeling, and taste local snacks including Three Cannon Shots and sweet cold noodles.

Experience Chengdu's iconic spicy hot pot. The beef tallow red pot with sesame oil dip is recommended, and duck intestines, tripe and tender beef are must-order items.

Visit Du Fu Thatched Cottage
It is the former residence of Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu when he lived in Chengdu. The thatched cottage scenic area reproduces the simple and austere style of that time, while the Great Hall and Gongbu Ancestral Hall showcase his life story and works. Shaded by bamboo forests, the environment is quiet and peaceful.
Strolling around Qingyang Palace
As the top Taoist temple in western Sichuan, most of its existing buildings were rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. The Bagua Pavilion and Sanqing Hall are extremely magnificent and imposing. Taoist priests practicing Taoism can often be seen inside the temple, creating a very authentic atmosphere.
Lunch · Xiao Tan Douhua next to Qingyang Palace
This is a time-honored snack shop specializing in iced fermented glutinous rice tofu pudding and tofu pudding with crispy fried dough twists. Pair with sweet spicy noodles or mung bean porridge for a simple and comfortable meal.

Wandering Around Kuanzhai Alley
It consists of Kuan Alley, Zhai Alley and Jing Alley arranged in parallel, retaining the form of traditional courtyard houses. There are teahouses, cultural and creative shops, and exquisite restaurants here now. It is suitable for finding a courtyard to drink tea and watch people passing by.

Visit Jinsha Site Museum
This is the site of the ancient Shu Kingdom dating back to the Shang and Zhou Dynasties. In the Relics Hall, visitors can see the original soil layer of the large-scale sacrificial area. The Exhibition Hall houses thousands of treasures such as the Golden Sun Bird gold ornament and the golden mask, which solve the mysteries of ancient Shu.

Offer Incense and Taste Vegetarian Cuisine at Wenshu Monastery
First built in the Sui Dynasty, it is a famous Buddhist monastery in western Sichuan, and was bestowed the two characters "Kong Lin" by Emperor Kangxi. There are towering ancient trees in the monastery, and the incense worship is extremely prosperous. The vegetarian set meals at Xiangyuan are exquisite and affordable, with a quiet environment.
Drinking Tea at Heming Teahouse, Renmin Park
It is a living fossil of old Chengdu's tea culture. With rattan chairs and covered teacups, you can get ear cleaning services, eat melon seeds, watch local people around play mahjong and chat casually, and fully integrate into the slow-paced life here.
